During the last 6 years at Timico I have helped transform the way we manage and develop our cloud and hosting platforms. Whilst maintaining my skills with a hands on approach, I manage a team of developers to build a public and private cloud offering using VMWare vCloud Director on top of Cisco UCS, with both Dell Compellent and EMC storage.
I am a dynamic individual who enjoys learning new technologies and strives to constantly better myself both in my professional and personal life. I'm approachable and able to comfortably explain complex solutions to less technical staff and customers, without confusing or belittling them.
My background gives me a wide range of skills covering network design, software development, web technologies, system administration, virtualisation, and security.
My CV is kept up to date online at http://tech.pookey.co.uk/cv.html.
